Research and Development New Product Coordinator
Research and Development New Product Coordinator: Coordinates the new product development process from conceptual requirement, through engineering, testing, and customer acceptance while supporting the launch introduction into the marketplace.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates in planning, coordinating, collecting, evaluating, and interpreting data and writing reports detailing the results of research and test of new product offerings
Provides technical assistance during the development of new or upgraded products. This would include but not be limited to flight performance data collection, analysis and documentation, as well as set-up of test items or systems
Creates and facilitates presentations to customers, management and vendors on new products
Utilizes Microsoft Project to plan and track various stages of the process by managing the new product development cycle from the initial stage to delivery
Partners with all vendors networking, scheduling meetings and communicating milestones expediting each phase of the new product development
Manages consistent and accurate information flow between design, development and stakeholders
Networks and resources must be established to maintain an ongoing knowledge base of new products in the market place and customer demands
Will be the subject matter expert (SME) in understanding what resources are needed to create a product and/or service based on the customers’ requirements
Evaluate products through freefall jumps, static line jumps and drogue jumps
Organize and maintain control of published R&D documentation
Responsible to ensure deadlines are met and if not, why, and provides detail surrounding any obstacles

Education and Experience
Ability to learn quickly, work under pressure, and manage diverse/multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, contractors and the general public, both orally and in writing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional
Ability to work independently.
Required to maintain a FAA Senior Rigger certification, Master Rigger (preferred)
Experience in understanding how parachute equipment works
Test Jumper highly preferred
Must maintain certification as a Tandem Master, Military preferred, or the ability to get certified within 6 months
Experience with ISO9001 requirements preferred
Sport or Military Free Fall experience with a D license required or Foreign equivalent
Must be certified in FAA class 3
