The Ambassador Tactical Navigation System (ATNS) propels HAHO/HALO parachute flight navigation to superior levels of both performance and capabilities for the operator. Ease of use functionality, understandable/programmable graphics and easy to locate data displays improves situational awareness and strengthens mission success.
The ATNS Android compatible – stand-alone mission planner acquires real-time data from multiple meteorological information sources including NOAA, NCAR Dropsonde, and FAA. Utilizing a number of web based mapping displays guarantees precise graphics. The display screen clearly defines actual mapping of terrain, time and distance to target, current altitude, ground speed, compass heading and battery life. Never worry about faulty readings – these components continuously accurately update throughout the mission. For mission planning, the ATNS can overlay the LZ photo offering landing pattern graphics with ground wind and landing direction shown. The ATNS screen offers a number of options for specific information. The jumpmaster mode displays all operator locations and direction of flight. Choosing the wind-cone and safety circle display shows landing possibilities.
From planning – to aircraft exit – to landing, the ATNS provides mission superior capability while enhancing jumper safety leading to overall mission success.
